Memorial Day Weekend
After painting the roses, I painted the Amaryllis.....with some family members playing Mexican Train close by...!
The new rose bush, named "Memorial Day" bloomed for the first time, very appropriately since it's Memorial Day weekend. Hence, I have made up my mind to paint or sketch a rose every day for the rest of the summer until I can get 'em right. here is my first for the summer.

Your roses are gorgeous. I also like the family playing on the porch. I can tell by the inclined head which is your Mother!
