Couldn't Wait for Spring

Spring, where ARE you??? I looked out my window and saw snow flurries coming down!

But, with my income taxes done I wanted to spend my day off painting. I remembered my tulips from last year which had been blooming already by this time and I dug up an old photo of them for inspiration. It was so much fun painting with a palette knife this time and no messy bruches to clean. What I was really pushing for with this was trying to catch the colors of the petals as they overlapped each other. A good dose of art and color today.
