Garden in The City

Such a beautiful garden it was, and right in the middle of the city! The summer heat was sizzling, but the shady spot where I was standing was comfortable. This was the most fun Plein Air day ever!

Limelight and Silver

I just love the hydrangeas called Limelight.

Thistle

Last year I came accross a thistle growing by the side of the road and was struck by how gorgeous this weed was! The flower itself just seemed to glow and it had an almost faceted shape to it. I've done a watercolor of it and now an oil painting. I still have more paintings in mind for it, though.

Sunshine and Adobe

Finally, I have a painting. This old building was on the side of the road next to a gas station. Later, I saw the same building depicted in several works of art by other artists!
